Research Scientist, Center for Neurosciences, Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, North Shore LIJ Health System, Jan 2011 - Jan 2014

Performed investigative research and development work for projects in medical image processing using diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), positron emission tomography (PET), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and functional MRI (fMRI). Responsible for the collection, analysis and interpretation of research data related to the study of neurological diseases such as Dystonia, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APL), Depression in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Submitted manuscripts and abstracts for publication and presentation.

Post Doctoral Research Fellow, Center for Neurosciences, Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, North Shore LIJ Health System, Jan 2009 - Dec 2010

Concentrations: Quantitative brain imaging, advanced functional brain scanning techniques. Obtained a variety of multidisciplinary skills ranging from experimental design, imaging methodology and data analysis, to manuscript preparation. Gained specific expertise in the application of statistical parametric mapping as well as multivariate brain mapping techniques.
